Above is my home without the StormTraX "storm panels" installed but with "brackets" in place
Here is "with" the panels.
Panels only take minutes to put in place. I used no ladders to put up the panels on the second and 3rd floor! They can be put in place and "anchored" to the brackets all from the inside of the home!

Here is a picture of the "V" bracket style. It will be the same 10 gauge as the "Z" bracket; it will be sized and bent to accommodate your slanted window sill; then drilled similar to the "Z" bracket for mounting directly on top of the sill. It can be modified depending on the distance the sill juts out from the window. An alternative for first floor windows is to use the "Z" bracket directly above the sills on the trim bordering the windows.
StormTraX Brackets
They are made of ten gauge galvanized steel. Primed and painted in a "stainless steel" finish. They are ready to paint with oil or water base paint to match the back round they are mounted on.
When you paint them the color of the trim or back round the brackets visually "disappear"
